Traditional Sardinian Cooking Class - Selargius

In the kitchen of a real Campidanese house you will learn the secrets of traditional Sardinian cooking by putting your hands to the dough with us and take them home with you.

Our cooking workshops are the result of years of research, experience and passion for local culinary traditions, but above all the desire to share our knowledge with both beginners and those who wish to expand their culinary skills.

In our workshops you will rediscover the ancient fragrances handed down from generation to generation in Sardinia that used to accompany large family gatherings around the table, or Sundays spent baking bread or cakes for parties. Our guests always return home with an experience to share and repeat in their own kitchens, perhaps with their loved ones.

The IN-kitchen-workshops take place in cooperation with Cinzia of the Maddrigga di Luna home restaurant in Selargius. IN-kitchen because together we are going to put our hands to dough right on the kitchen table in Cinzia’s home. A special home because we are in a real Campidanese house, a typical house of the area, built with mud bricks in the 1930s and with unique characteristics.

We use only simple and genuine ingredients chosen from the best local suppliers, thanks to which we immerse you in the local culinary art.

Among the workshops available you will find in particular those on typical pasta shapes from all over Sardinia prepared according to tradition, sweets and much more.

With us you will learn how to create:

  • The mother yeast
  • Homemade Bread (civraxiu, coccoi)
  • Pasta violada
  • Fregula
  • Lorighittas
  • Sardinian Gnocchetti (malloreddus)
  • Ravioli (cullurgionis)
  • Culurgiones Ogliastrini
  • Coccoi Prenas
  • Panadas
  • Bread with tomato (pani cun tamatiga o mustazzeddu)
  • La Pratzida
  • Pardulas
  • Amaretti
  • Seadas

IN-kitchen-workshops takes place all year long from Monday to Sunday upon request, or consult the calendar to check the dates that are already active.

It is possible to personalise the workshop on request. It is possible to request one or more tastings in combination with the workshops.

The workshops vary in duration depending on the combination chosen.

They start from a minimum of 3H for single experiences and a minimum of 2 participants.

Participants are provided with everything they need to enjoy the workshop, at the end of which they will take home their creations.

The number of participants is limited in order to comply with safety rules and ensure the quality of the experience.

It is also required for every participant:

  • to wear an FFp2 protective mask
  • to maintain a minimum safety distance of one metre
  • to carry their own hand sanitiser.

Reservation is required, without which the tour is not guaranteed.

Cancellation terms provide a full refund for any tour if this takes place at least 5 days before the scheduled start or within 24 hours of purchase. If cancellation occurs within 3 days prior to the event you are entitled to a 50% refund, otherwise there is no refund.
